Well, I've finally got my internet service back up so I'm catching up. If you didn't hear we had 2 tornadoes blow through Troy last Friday. We were lucky at the Matney house and only had some minor damage, nothing that can't be easily fixed. Many of my neighbours weren't as lucky. We were without power for just over 24 hours. I've never seen so many trees down and destruction from a storm in my life. Below are a few links that show some of the damage in the area.

At one point over half a million people throughout the St. Louis area had no power. Even today some still don't have it back. Thankfully all my friends and family are safe.
